FLASH (FLorida Atheists and Secular Humanists), Road cleanups, Science education in local schools, as well annual celebrations with guest speakers about Carl Sagan and Charles Darwin, to name a few.

I don't need to. But then I don't live in the land of "Do as you're told or else".

None. I’m fairly satisfied with the way things are.

We in Spain, or in fact most of Europe, do not need protection. For promotion, I merely proclaim my atheism. Some people say, "me too", others simply nod. Very few leap into "preacher mode." When they do, I then delight in asking them about the contradictions in their beliefs.

None. I believe that people should be able to believe what they want to. It’s not my job to change people’s minds. And fortunately, no one in my community actively attacks non believers. And my hometown is (or was, I haven’t checked in a few years) in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most churches per square capita.
