One sad thing for me about there not being God is, I will never know why the answer to the Big Question is 42.

Like it matters. It is strongly believed that no single entity can know both the question and the answer simultaneously. Some say that if this ever happens, the universe will disappear and be replaced with something even more mind-boggling. Others say that this has already happened.
