Worldwide the bustup of the European Union and the Western Alliance is planned so as to have less restriction when it comes to coal and oil products. This means they make more money.
Back to American healthcare, I find that the right says they "don't want you to spend your hard earned tax dollars on someone else's healthcare." This assumes that you do have enough money for your own healthcare when the average American doesn't even have $5,000. Imagine that they use this kind of lie. They tell you about a right to life but you have no right to healthcare. How would people get by? It's greed. Just too much greed. When 4% of the world has all the wealth you just know that the problem is that guy in front of you in the checkout line with food stamps.
The only remedy is to VOTE. Signup is quick, easy and simple. Please vote.

You are absolutely right. I am constantly amazed by the ways politicians in US manipulate the general public to vote against their self-interest. Like I just mentioned, intellectuals take advantage of this moment to blame more vulnerable groups of society thereby wreaking more havoc. I don't think general people in US are necessarily more greedy, I just think they are brainwashed. Like you said, they have been used and abused for far too long. I am an international student so I can't vote but I will raise awareness as much as I can.
Right wingers and criminal elements.

I am baffled by their popularity among young people. I think the ideas of the people sitting in the right of parliament lost during the French revolution. What's been called right-wing ideas are neo-liberal economic policies, national jingoism, and the acceptance of stratification of society based on the hierarchy of intelligence.
Please help register new voters!
Last April with two other volunteers, we registered 74 high school students to vote during four lunch hours. Wenatchee High School kindly provided tables and chairs. All students have the same lunch hour. Seniors can leave the building. They walked right past our tables.
"Register to vote!" I called loudly, all smiles, dancing and waving my arms. "It takes TWO minutes! Right here at these tables. The media says young people won't vote. Prove them wrong!"
We will do it again in September.

You are doing a great job. Voting the right candidate is important regardless of the political parties. Both American political parties have moved far too the right. There are fringe groups of young people in the democratic party who are actively trying to make the situation better.
