For some reason when I can't fall asleep I start imagining sheep and counting them jumping over a fence. ...

But they always eventually just turn into a bunch of Benedict Cumberbatches in sheep costumes baa-ing in a British accent....

Any weird insomnia habits you have?

When I have a lot of difficulties sleeping I'll sometimes focus on my breathing, counting every other breath, up to around ten then start over, if need be.
It takes my mind off of whatever may be bothering me by concentrating, and the "every other count" forces my mind not wander back to what was bothering me.

Benedict would be more interesting to watch , than sheep .

Which only makes it harder to fall asleep
