Summer: mow the lawn after 8pm when it is cooler, then watch the moonrise from the pool.
Winter: jammies on at 5, popcorn for supper.
Both have their attractions (especially the popcorn to my ass!)

I like it fine. I also like it fine when it's light until 9 o'clock. I like changes in the weather and the light. I lived in California for about 9 years, and I missed the change of seasons very much.
