EXPRESS YOURSELF! The old cliche about never speaking of politics is/should be passe! Make sure you aren't obnoxious, of course, but speak up! You never know when you might actually influence someone else to THINK! Let the anti-groper people know they're not alone. Have like-minded friends over for discussion groups. Have each of them invite someone new. Make sure you call to volunteer for working pools, registering people, etc.

Things you can do everyday if you like:

1. Donate to the ACLU or similar, the courts are mostly still holding the line
2. Program your device(s) with contact info for your "representatives" so it is quick & easy to make your opinions known.
3. VOTE! "Not voting" is not a protest, it is acquiescence!

What does resistance look like? I think it's as simple as enthusiasm when we go to the polls, eye contact with people you meet in the community, strangers and acquaintances, greeting them, smiling and letting them know that today you are alive and engaged, aware of those around you, aware of your place in community and how important community is. We can either become suspicious of one another and wall off or we can build bridges, get the conversation going, even if it's simply recognition. Great post, moNO.
