I think about how one time my ex boyfriend said his family had a picture of an angel.

Me: stare of disbelief
Him: "no really, it has the dress and wings and everything"
Me: "really? Who made the dress?"
Him: stare of confusion

And I just laugh and laugh and laugh...

My ex fiancee's family were Pentecostal. Yeah, those people that flop and flail around because they "feel god's touch." My first time meeting them ever was at their house for lunch. I asked to have some water and they tell me to grab a bottle from the fridge. As I close the door of the refrigerator I notice a little news clipping from the local paper with the headline, "Atheists demand national holiday." The article states that Atheist demanded a holiday and a judge granted them april fool's day because they're all idiots. As I finish reading her and her parents walk in and I look at them with my annoying condescending grin. The look of horror on all of their faces was so satisfying that I didn't care that they left it there through our entire relationship.

@Kassandra lol thanks. It was an awkward moment but so hilariously memorable. Unfortunately, they were extremely firm in their thinking of Atheists and I could feel them (including my ex) judging me all the time.

@lck1256 yeah, unfortunately its hard to get around that. Then again, I can judge them pretty hard too. I need to work on that.

@Kassandra I'm also guilty of judging people harshly as well. I've gotten better at it though. I find myself mentallly chastising myself whenever I immediately judge someone negatively and then follow it up with a more logical reason.

@Kassandra Wow I'm more intrigued about this photograph! Did they catch it by surprise or it came to them?.. I'm asking because I want to understand how ridiculous it looked and why they think it was real.
