Scotland, really? Visited there once and loved it.

Sorry, just read your bio. I grew up in Texas.

@Alana ....so....I'm not from TX. Just semi-retired here in a border town. 🙂

Stress upsets my stomach and colon. I tend to eat (or retain) way too little when stressed. ):

Nothing...I can't eat at all when I am stressed...sleep is what I do...ZONK OUT!

Yes, I do that too!

When I'm stressed I cannot eat. Sometimes maybe chocolate.

Eating to relieve stress... hmmm. Nope, not my go-to crisis response. Unless you count hunger as a form of stress. But that's just obvious.
That being said, I have to agree with coffee being a source of comfort. Day doesn't start without it.

3 Musketeers and Pepsi, I'm naturally hyper and all the sugar seems to mellow me out.

You remind me a bit (from your photo) of a college roommate I had who lived off of Mountain Dew and canned Wolf brand chili. Cheers!

@Alana I prefer Dennisons canned chili, lived on that for a few years myself but alas it's always been Pepsi for me

I generally eat pretty healthy, too, but I'm totally down with comfort food.

Anything served with homemade mashed potatoes will work for me. As will chilled mini Reese's peanut butter cups, or M&M's.

And like you, potato chips always work. I think they are the world's best salted snack.
