I can relate -- in fact, I had to check the name on that post to make sure I didnt write it. Ha! Same here, over the winter. Dealing with loneliness one pint of Talenti Gelato at a time! But I finally got a grip when my summer clothes were more snug than they should have been. Finally reversed course. Shooting for 30 pounds, 9 pounds down so far. Yay me! Good luck to you.

Your not alone Pepper. I look like the dad of the guy i was 2 years ago. The stress of my aches and retirement and my parents transitioning to a nursing home and dying and the drama with the inheritance. Food became tbe thing i said to hell with.

I've done the exact same thing. I've caught myself at the five pound mark and am hopeful that I'm getting back on track. Why does ice cream always make me feel so good, though? Totally not fair.

True and mood can be affected by what we eat.
