Perhaps my daughter can advise on the uniforms. Here's Claire at 7-1/2 in her spaceman costume, created for a 2nd grade project.

Claire and her dad fought up-and-down the hardware store aisles, arguing about what goes into a spaceman costume. I love the bendy elbows and knees!

Now 28, Claire is still as stubborn. That's my girl!

The problem with this uniform is that a soldier will be out of breath after walking 100 yards carrying all that stuff.
