Stay safe & stay indoors if you can - there have been reports already of people experiencing breathing problems - coughing, asthma etc

thankfully we could see the smoke and flames however the wind was blowing it away from us, some were not so luckly, this was Mossley just a couple of miles away

Scary stuff.
Seems like this is becoming more common.

An every year event down here. Laughing at the pleasant temperature of 33°C described as heatwave.
The scariest thing is the realisation that a fire only 3-4 miles away can travel that distance in the time that it takes to make a cup of tea.
