After I purge When I pack I label each box with the room it was packed it, figuring I will want to unpack in that room's equivalent in the next residence. It makes sorting and unpacking a lto easier. In my last big move, I was unpacked in just a few hours once everything was unloaded from the truck and into the the right rooms int eh new place.

Buy and keep in the car,oven mitts and driving gloves, Cold temps are almost as bad as hot ones.

When boxed up,identify which room its for and number them,make two or more copies as one or more will vanish and put in a binder or two of them. Tape guns and markers will just up and be gone, never to be found until you move again,buy several along with the tape.

Maybe you should gift wrap the boxes and make holiday gifts to yourself of them!
