Trouble is...I am a news junkie. Addicted to news. Can't give it up. Don't want to give it up. So in a way you could say I spend a lot of my time watching the very worst of what mankind has to offer!

I don't watch the news (don't have commercial TV only streaming and a huge DVD collection from our award winning library. I try not to listen to NPR before 9 (after that time is music). However, I do get the big Seattle paper, multiple periodicals (Atlantic, FFRF newsletter, the Humanist, Smithsonian, Nature Conservancy to name a few). I am able to keep up with what is going on but at my own pace. This site also helps a lot.
