When my aunt was at the end of her life I was the closest responsible relative. She never married nor had children, I became her guardian and conservator. She had not thrown anything much away in the 50+ years she lived in her house. I don't want to do that to my kids, so I am (in theory) trying to get rid of stuff faster than I bring stuff in. I'm a quilter and crafter.... I got lots of stuff.
