There are literally thousands of versions of you.
Everyone you meet develops a different version of you based on your interactions. This version lives in their head.
This version of you is born when you meet a new person. The more they interact and get to know you, the more fleshed out their version is.
Yet, the chances of 2 versions of you being identical are almost zero.
If someone perceives you as an asshole, the you that lives in their mind is an asshole.
There is little of nothing you can do to change this.

When two different individuals with very different perceptions of me meet, it's either a priceless or a super embarrassing conversation.

So true. We are many things to many people.
