Exactly, either we are really a freak of the universe or there is much life in the universe. Life on this planes seems to occur anywhere it has a chance of thriving from arid to wet, hot to cold, so there must be many such places on other planets in the galaxy. now as for intelligent life, well the jury is still out on this planet so we really cannot say much about other planets. Lets hope they're doing better than the orange buffoon.
I think it is symbolic that the only life that he created in the whole of the universe he stuck on an unimpressive mudball circling a smallish star in the spiral arm of a run of the mill galaxy.
