Attorney General Jeff Sessions has just decided to crack down on cancer, MS and, seizure patients because we don't have a problem with real drugs in the US or anything. I'm trying to make this open to discussion but I'm currently too livid to form a coherent theme to talk about. I've never used, but I understand that there are many benefits marijuana can provide for people with chronic and terminal issues. States have begun allowing it to be used medically and it's been hugely beneficial but the Keebler Elf's evil twin wants to punish the sick and dying for sealing treatments.
Jeff Sessions is on the wrong side of history. What he's doing might slow things down in terms of full legalization but I doubt he'll stop it. More and more states are legalizing weed including California which has a fuckton of seats in Congress. The tide in favor of weed is too big to be stopped, especially not by the likes of a single man.
It's not about the legalization of marijuana. It's about giving his goons the go ahead to punish people for medicine they need. Fuck that guy
Fair point. My blood boiled when he said that 'good people don't smoke marijuana' @GrantSmith

I have a friend in the Cannabis Program and just updated my application in NH. Sesions is going to be investigated by Mueller on obstruction of justice. He just proved thats why trump fired Comey-Sessions is in trouble. trump also lobbied Jeff Sessions not to recuse himself.
The insensitivity and inhumanity of the religious right seems boundless.
I finally calmed down enough to read more on it. His exact directive was for US Attorneys to use their own judgement. It sounds more inane that way but the DOJ is being filled with judges and prosecutors who are cronies to their party and still most definitely prosecute medical cases.
