When I was in the Navy on several occasions I had spotted what are referred to as waterspouts it is basically a tornado on water. On one occasion I had spotted twin waterspouts. After seeing these appear out of thin air gave me thought about the Brugada triangle and it could be an explanation for some things. Those waterspouts go way up into the sky as well.
