For years all we heard on tv was use a condom and protect yourself from HIV/AIDS. Then, nothing for years. Now, there are the commercials for a preventative you can take so that you will not get AIDS/HIV. What's up? Are they just trying to sell more pills or is HIV/AIDS on the rise again?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The ad also points out several times that you still need to use a condom, & get an HIV test before you start the drug & every 3 months thereafter. I don't know if HIV is on the rise again in general, but I believe there are some segments of society where it is. But the main thing is, it isn't gone & we need to prevent as many people from getting it as we can.
