Just saw it all on the 6 o’clock news. Trump gave an interview yesterday to the Sun newspaper before he left Brussels. He said Theresa May was doing a bad job at Brexit because she hadn’t taken his advice, that he wouldn’’t do any trade deal with Britain if we had a customs deal with EU and that he thought Boris Johnston would make a great prime minister. Today at a joint press conference he denied all of that and said it was fake news. The reporters have all heard the tapes and everyone knows he did say these things , he and Sarah Huckabee Sanders are denying it. She says he only said nice things about May but they were not reported! He and Melania have had tea with the Queen and are now on their way to Scotland. He has been kept away from the protests .
