And should be. When unions have been strong the economy has been strong.

Without unions we would still be touching our forelocks and feeling grateful to the employer class for letting us make them millionaires whilst paying us a pittance. My Aunt was in the forefront of the union movement in the UK and was blackballed when she tried to organise the labour force in Scotland in the 1930s. They raised wages and conditions for all workers and without them we would quickly return to the dark ages again,

You have one thing to sell...your time! Just like doctors & lawyers, it is valuable...but unlike them, you cannot get what you deserve for your time (your one & only LIFE!) Unless you belong to a Union!
The highest standard of upwardly-mobile living was when Unions were strong!
