The untold trick is, you must wash/rinse few times it first....

@onlyduh no no...burns because the flame is too strong or because it's exposed to it too long. Which one is it? That's what you need to work on.....

Buy easy cook rice and do it in the microwave. It is always perfect with separate grains.

Trader Joe's frozen rice packets; 3 minutes in the microwave, perfect every time. If you like sticky rice, though, this is not that. Heck, they've even got Brown rice.

Good luck... I think that you just talked me in to making some rice too... πŸ™‚

Send pix. Lol

Oh shit. I forgot..I hope you remembered. Did it come out OK?

Everybody run!!!!!!!!!!

Let the adventure begin!

Rice cooker is definitely the easiest way to have perfect rice every time but frankly even when I do it on the stove top it’s perfect every time… Rinse the rice well, put it in the pot, water just covering the rice, bring to a boil, then lower it to a simmer, time it for 20 Minutes. The words, β€œhey Siri set timer for 20 minutes” makes it fail proof even on the stove πŸ™‚

So far, so good. LOL!

I'll come back in 10 minutes to make sure you check on it. Shouldn't take more than 12 minutes to cook.
