Hello from Alaska! I just joined as well and still learning the ropes of the site.
How does Ohio generally treat Atheism and the like? Alaska (unfortunately) is absolutely stifling to those that aren't very into religion.

@loritastic Ha, I've also used the term "black sheep" extensively. At first, it was a fun deflecting euphemism, but I've found, over the years, that it's probably the most "tolerated" form of expressing non-religiousity to most. I'm convinced that if there were a children's book about Atheism, the protagonist(s) would have to be black sheep!
You guys have no idea how refreshing it is to find a forum where talking about this isn't hella taboo!
