Ok, I've been trying to figure this out on my own for weeks now with no luck. I read people's profiles and their posts and I see "gs" and I have no friggin clue what it means. Someone please help me be a little less dumb...

I think it indicates connection with a secret historical fraternity.

Or else, not.

The Urban Dictionary says the "gs" stands for "good shit" - if it's not just a software glitch.

I think it's a glitch. Whenever you type the letters t-h-i-n next to each other they disappear. So "gs" is actually when someone types t-h-i-n-g-s.

@CrazyQuilter That's why I used the hyphens. And it's apparently in profiles, but not comments.

I had to go back and look in order to verify... Now, I'm rather good at deciphering through context, but I would never have figured that out. The whole time, I'm thinking it's some kind of acronym or shorthand.

@ghettophilosopher Just glad I could help.

@ghettophilosopher there are a few other glitches that pop up now and again. If you see something odd in an otherwise grammatical post, its usually one of our weird glitches

Can you give us a sample sentence?

I'd have to search for one, but check out @nottheonlyone 's answer.

@ghettophilosopher That’s what I was thinking, it was the ‘things’ glitch. ?
