I am amazed to see new members at the left of the home page.
Especially to see very happy faces with "38%" just under their faces. I already have one of those. Is there anyway to have the home page not remind me?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.What are you talking about? Pix appear alongside their posts. The "38%", or whatever number, is supposedly comparability with you based on your profiles. Why would you not either just ignore it or jump on their bones!
