To Salo below. What wasn't nice about what I said plus can you point out any problem with the facts. I have been attacked by a german shepherd, chased by many a teeth baring jaw snapping dogs simply because I passed them by. I passed by a friendly dog who wanted to play, ran into my front wheel taking me down. I was knocked out and have permanent partial disability from the trauma to my left arm. Broke my pelvis in 3 places and couldn't walk for a month and I now walk with little hitch. Many dogs are like 2 year old children and have no boundaries. They aren't satisfied unless you spend all your time and attention on them. Many women expect you to love their dogs no matter what the behavior. I continually need to ask people to hold on to their un leashed dogs while I simply pass slowly by hoping not to be assaulted by another friendly "oh he doesn't bite family dog"

You had me at retired teacher and not religious. Own your home a plus, but I simply can't get over people and their dogs and what makes you think putting two dogs down will attract a guy. Some guys for sure, buy many will run the other way as fast as they can like me.
