Yes originally of course they come from the UK like cricket etc... but like India and Pakistan are masters of cricket..we are quite good in Rugby for a small nation...not quite Allblacks.. but good ..?

@Hitchens No cricket played in my other land...at least not professionally. In rugby (The Pumas) used to be a great teame / 60s. Today nobody is better than the Allblacks....and in soccer Ireland...well...

I don't follow soccer anyway..but yes they are not strong..the furthest they got in the world cup was the quater finals.
In Rugby we have one of the best teams ..we have beaten every country including the all blacks 2 years ago.???☘

Actually I was referring to the countries colonised by Great Britain...not Argentina..apart from the Falkland Islands..

They adopted British sports such as Rugby Cricket and soccer etc

BTW, soccer was introduced to my other land by a Catholic priest of Spanish origin (Father Lorenzo) and rugby was, indeed, by the Irish...and is a "trophy" of the upper classes....as is polo.
