Had a funny experience today. I work with a group of education facilitators in a local hospital in practice. Working in the university can be a bit oppressive at times in the heady heights of academia so being back with 'real nurses' can be fun. Today this team told me how much they were looking forward to the 'Royal Wedding' (apparently they still haven't run out of the buggers)...of course I am totally opposed to the idea of a monarchy anyway but I felt in an instance really torn. On the one hand I really like this group of hard core realistic sensible practitioners on the other I felt an instant drop in respect for them. I realised this is maybe what it feels like for you guys when someone tells you they are a god botherer! Strange place to be in

One difference is the monarchy doesn't do any harm does it?

Course they do...how do you think they got there!
