Life's little rushes.....

I am in a rehab facility in Philadelphia, recovering from a torn quadriceps tendon that my surgeon referred to as an "enormous tear, all the way around the knee." I've been here since July 6th and should get to go home in a few days.

The facility is great. I am in a private room, the people are nice, therapy is professional as I work the leg harder and harder.

The food is OK, but hey it is an institution. When breakfast comes, the coffee is always lukewarm at best.

Just now, one of the attendants brought me a cup of HOT coffee, my first since July 2nd, the day before my surgery.

The best cup of coffee I ever had is whichever one I am drinking. And this one is awesome.
