Just want to off load. So I wrote a couple of work books for student nurses to complete. One on dementia care, one on learning disabilities and one on mental health. I do not get a penny (thats ok they pay me). I offered them to the masters and doctorate students as a little bit of formative additional info. Next minute I get hauled into the head of school's office...who told you to do this Jayne? Outside your pay grade Jayne...No primary research (never said it was!) Who is your audience? Where is your research proposal blah de blah de blah. This actually came on the back of governmental dictate and a FOI request to the university...I don't make this stuff up. All I need is a small lottery win and a little villa in Italy and I'd be sorted! #nogooddeedgoesunpunished! Ok rant over...grrr
