Can fasting be a healthy way to lose weight and feel good? Here's a youtube clip of a doctor who says yes and explains why and debunks many (if not all) of the myths surrounding fasts.

It's definitely not for me. Missing just one meal induces a severe migraine. That can't be healthy (for me. I am not speaking for others).

I think the best science says that the only way to lose weight and keep it off long term is to make permanent lifestyle changes. So if you can make fasting a permanent part of your lifestyle then yeah I would say it should work for you.

I began my first fast back when Dick Gregor was fasting for protest in the 1970's. I made it two weeks and it want easy. THerr are a lot of misconception surrounding fasting. There's a right way and a wrong way to do it. It's a goid way to clean your system of toxins and unnecessary fat if done correctly.
