For me, it's less important to know the name of the song (although it is important), but critical to know the artist so I can track down what else they do.

If a song is something that I enjoy, I want to get it and always have it so I can keep the memory and feeling alive when I listen to it later. I attend a local music festival every august and buy cd's that I enjoy and when I listen to them later, I'm transported back to a warm, early august night where I first heard the music.
