Does anybody have any favorite star-gazing locations? I live near a relatively bright (light polluted) city and most of the camping and state park type areas are heavily wooded in the southeast which makes it difficult to see wide views of dark sky. With the fall meteor showers coming soon I am looking for suggestions.
