Can we imagine everything humanity has accomplish so far if we wouldn't have had language?
Probably not as it would be difficult to pass on ideas. As far as making something simple it could be done by showing. But even with thoughts - how do you have thoughts without language
It's a very complex topic and for the most part, always taken for granted. And you just brought another interesting piece into the conversation, thoughts !!!! Thanks
@IamNobody I think therefore I am - or something like that
@AmelieMatisse cogito ergo sum, my buddy Descartes ?
@IamNobody Yeah but I like Sartre's silly version - I am therefore I think
@AmelieMatisse well, Sartre was one of a kind. Actually Nausea is a book I have read in three different languages !! Just for the kicks...
@IamNobody impressive! English, German, French? or are you more unique and have read it in Bantu
@AmelieMatisse Close !! English, French and Spanish. Bantu is not on my radar, German is. As far as being unique, we all are in our own way ?
@IamNobody unique or strange. One or the other
@AmelieMatisse l'un ou l'autre, sans aucun doute... ?
@IamNobody yes without a doubt.
@AmelieMatisse no tenia la menor duda que lo entenderias ?
@IamNobody.... HUA , which is British military for Heard, Understood, Acknowledged. The US army has turned it into the word "Hooah" and the Marines use" Hoorah". I speak Acronym LOL
@AmelieMatisse I am the most civilian anybody can be. I have peers that have serviced in the military, so I have heard hoorah but that's the extent of my armed forces knowledge
