After having been with a few people whom I was close to that have chosen hospice care at the end of their lives, I am very intrigued with the concept of “going over to the other side” in their release of pain, use of morphine for comfort and the letting go aspect. And then when they are physically dead, their spirit remaining in the room and, most importantly, ongoing with you.
