Just made a POF(Plenty Of Fish) profile only to find out it charges money after I filled out a bunch of stuff. Not that I can't pay but not sure if it is useful at all if I don't pay yet, or if it's a bunch of fake profiles and stuff... Anyone here use it and have anything to say about it? I did sign up for it like 10 years ago and it's been spamming my old email ever since but I had a gf for 7 years... I like this site but there is a lack of singles in my vicinity...

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.A friend of mine had some long-term relationships from POF, but nothing permanent. He doesn't use it anymore as he became disillusioned with the process.

Sorry to hear that about him. Nothing like a good sexual relationship with the right albacore or salmon...
I have been on POF for over 5 years and never gave them one dime! They Ask for money for upgrades, but you do not need them.
