I just made level 6 . As far as I can tell , the only ' perk ' for accomplishing this massive point accumulation from level 5 to 6 is that now there is an authority awarded to me to choose yes or no as to whether each comment from lower level users is appropriate in my opinion . This seems to be a predictable way to encourage the evolution of 'control of this site ' towards a demographic of ppl who desire such power to censor others . To be honest , I'm not gonna use this authority cuz without more transparency about how things work here or just a better understanding of the context of my actions ...
I just would feel like I'm participating in a version of a Milgrams experiment where Im obeying authority's direction to punish others just cuz I'm told that Im supposed to ...Im to ' believe ' in the intent without seeing it ...
I'm expected to have faith , not even faith in something identifiable... just faith for the sake of convenience . How can ya determine that the thing you're having faith in is worthy if ya can't see it , it has no name , no history , no voice , no ears to hear , no accountability
