I am impressed by the organization Represent.Us. They work to get anti-corruption laws enacted beginning on local levels, gaining momentum to go higher. If any of you are familiar with it, I would appreciate your thoughts on them. Is there a better organization that would have a similar goal? Here is what represent.us has been accomplishing so far: [represent.us]

VERY INTERESTING! Let's do some research on this....

Hmmmm...they have a group not far from me. I gave them my name...let's see what happens.

Thank you. Please keep us posted if you find something interesting about them.

@thislife Will do! They ask which skills you could bring to the group. I told them that, as a retiree, I have time to organize and demonstrate. (That was a well-meaning lie, I'm afraid...but...we'll see how inspiring they are.) TL...did you look for a group near you?

@LucyLoohoo There is not one in my immediate area.

@LucyLoohoo Your well-meaning lie may just inspire you to make time 🙂

I'm impressed also. Had not heard of them before. I believe the best way to lessen corruption in government is funding elections by the government. Everyone qualified gets the same dollar amount. Volunteers can still knock on doors. You think we could get the orange round one to sign something like that?

It is just common sense, so no, he would never sign it. 😛
