I am stuck in a Star Trek binge. Im going on 4 days, Season 2 episode 15 "the tribbles"...oh my gosh what time is it?
Season 2 is done. It was more like super hero work and U.S. history lessons. I liked season 1 because there were "mysteries" to figure out; Like how was the Enterprise suppose to escape the giant amoeba. Im now in season 3 episode 3. Star Trek: 3 seasons and each with about 25 50-minute episodes...Wow. Season 2 allowed me to get some work done. Looks like season 3 will do the same. Smh
When I was on Jeopardy in 2008, the answer to the Final Jeopardy question was 'What are Tribbles.' I could not come up with it at the time, then did a face-palm because I know both the Star Trek episodes with Tribbles. Sheeesh!
I like that you were on Jeopardy! I watch it but not all the time. Im not trivia but I appreciate it greatly. Im more Hungry Hungry Hippos, Sorry and Uno. Im what my kids call "a sore winner".
You Agnostics are wonderful! Thanks for stopping by. The rain is starting again and Netflix: Star Trek has been activated. And of course I will be watching the other versions of Star Trek.
My favorite Star Trek episode!
I used to have a long-haired (Peruvian), golden colored guinea pig that looked like a tribble.
I found a photo online that sort looks like her, but she was more golden.
Those tribbles were everywhere! Now that you mention it, they do resemble hairy guinea pigs.
I think I love you!
Awe! That's nice but my heart belongs to the crew of the USS Enterprise commanded by Captain James T Kirk.
@PeacefulChaos Perfect! From one Trekkie to another.
Spock should have is own school...THE UNIVERSITY OF SPOCK! Sign me up!
I get those binges every so often where I go through all the series and movies except JJ Abrams abomination universe
It has been raining in Charlotte for, I think, 4 days. Probably longer... I was on vacay in New Orleans. Nothing like rain and Netflix. Well in my case, Star Trek.
The original is great. Some of the sets and costuming are kind of cheesy like old 50's science fiction movies, but for me it is part of the appeal. The messaging in most of them is pretty good stuff.
Lol I agree about the costumes and the sets and I still can't look away. It's amazing how the introduction themes change over the seasons.
@PeacefulChaos Those costumes and sets are part of what makes it work for me. I love old SiFy films from the 50's, which is why l made that reference. ☺
Could never get into the original series, sorry for the blasphemy. I could definitely binge DS9 or TNG! Have you seen Discovery?
I have not seen Discovery and now the plan is to watch everything Star Trek. Thanks for the information.
