Virginia here I come? My current job finally officially offered me a promotion. No if ands or buts about it, if I want it, it's mine. The new job is in Virginia, which means moving 8 hours north of where I currently am. My company pays me a lump sum to move and I sign a contract for two years. I can make it work for two years right? I know almost nothing about the new location, except what little I can find on the internet. I'd be moving before months end, so does anyone know of, been to, drivin through wytheville Virginia?

Congrats 🙂 Wythville, VA is about 50-60 miles west of Roanoke, VA and Blacksburg, VA (where Virginia Tech is located). I've only been out that way once or twice in the years I've 9 lived in Virginia. It's a fairly nice area.

Friends of mine used to live near there. Pretty country. Maybe not a whole lot of things to do in terms of nightlife, if that's important.

Im not really a night life person. I prefer to sleep or create art at night if I'm not at work. From what I can tell online theirs plenty of interesting things to do on my off today's that match my interests

Congrats! That's great news! Yes, 2-years is perfect to feel out the opportunity.
