Yep, had my hair cut off today. Went from swing past my rump to super short. I asked for something like Halle Berry's short hair cut she had as it was super cute. Now to get used to it.

Wow, you're brave.

No choice, Im in a lot of pain and with surgery coming up I won't be able to care for it properly. It will grow back.

You will be amazed at the extra time you have, the longer your shampoo & conditioner last & the easier summer weather is with short hair. I'll never go back. (Edited to correct typo)

Not sure I could make such a drastic change. Will be curious if you become more daring in other aspects of your life, with your new hair style.

I did it because I have no choice. Im injured and have surgery coming up to repair my shoulder. Because I live alone I have no help.

@misstuffy Oh, yes I understand now. When I was unable to move my right arm, for a month, due to a shoulder problem, washing and fixing my hair was one of the frustrating obstacles. (Hooking my bra was another.) Still the adapting to the drastic change of hairstyle might change the way you approach life, or how others see you, if you've worn your hair long for many years.

@Julie808 Yes it is, I have only cut my hair a few times but never this short. I donated my hair twice and I have this hair in a band to donate again. I won't be wearing any bras for awhile as it is too painful. It is hard enough getting dressed and will probably be worse after surgery.

@maturin1919 yes, when you hold your head in your hands it feels much lighter than on your shoulders ?!
