Texas using religion as a state belief system? Where is the separation of church and state guaranteed by the constitution??

This kind of thing is often just empty bravado, red meat tossed to the base, etc. It's hard to know how much of it is actually followed through on. What exactly is Abbott proposing to do about stopping any group from "coming into the State"? If they have legal standing to bring an action, then Abbott can't do anything about it, to my knowledge.

It's because... well... Texas.

I did some training for work in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area a couple of years ago, and I have to say that I've been to third world countries where the infrastructure is in better shape. Allegedly, I was staying on the good side of town! If this is true, I'd hate to see the bad parts.

What a depressing place. Couldn't wait to get the hell out of there.

I live in Texas! I live in a nice neighborhood no murders or breaking in for a few years now! Shootings and robberies across town are a different story!
