I am afraid a few bad apples do get into the Military and Police forces but we must remember they are very rare. Just hope the vetting process is tightened up and his punishment makes him rethink his racist mindset!

You are right...we often get too emotional when the press only depicts the bad ones...statistically speaking, we should be very grateful that the majority of men and women in our armed forces are there for the right purpose. Thanks for the reminder...it is a hopeful message!
I just don't understand how a young man who is in the military can forget that those before him fought in wars to stop this kind of horrible treatment of others. If my Army MSG dad were alive today, he would give his rant on fighting against the Nazis in WWII...it is sad justice...

I completely agree! My father died in the US Navy after fighting in one war and getting ready for another. If he knew that the military is now being sworn to support a treasonous, thieving sexual PERVERT....well....I'm glad he doesn't know.
@LucyLoohoo Especially one who deferred because of "bone spurs"....
I don't believe it's too far-fetched to say that some of these yahoos enlist for the purpose of learning military tactics they can use back on their home turf when they get out. For certain this has been done by gang members.
@Bendog My dad was a conservative Republican all his life. He and I had so many respectful and intelligent conversations but we both agreed that people and country came first, not religion and party. Yeah...I am glad he did not live to see these times. On that note, how do some of the older vets continue to support this type of thing?
To thinktwice..I've been in the military. Some of the most low life scum l ever met was when l was in the Army. There are alot of people in the Army because it's the only half decent job they could get.
