Hi all, still here. My brother is still in hospital. Not likely to move any time soon. Hope you are all ok?

Hi all thank you for your replies. My brother has an acquired brain injury and lives in what they call a 'perpetual dream state'. As a result he cannot differentiate dreams from reality. It is really scary and confusing for him. This leads him to believe he has eaten when he hasn't and at 6ft tall he weighs less than 58kgs (thats about 130lbs). He developed Sepsis that did not respond to antibiotics but somehow he's hung on. (Thank you amazing NHS). Now he just needs to gain weight which is a challenge.

Sorry your brother needs that kind of medical care , although I'm glad it's available for him . The waiting can be so very boring for you . Hope you brought along a good book or two . The waiting goes on for hours .
