Hello! This is a glove I made for an enormous Jazz Hand. I was part of a team that participated in the Kinetic Sculpture Race here in Baltimore, and our kinetic sculpture was Jazz Hands! I actually made two gloves, one using tan & brown fabrics to represent a work glove (for when the sculpture had to be driven through mud and then sand -- hard work!), and this one, which used white fabric with silver "sequins." The had was fully articulated and throughout the course of the race displayed a number of hand gestures, most frequently the peace sign. Lots of fun to make the gloves, and even more fun to be part of the Kinetic Sculpture Race. [kineticbaltimore.com]
