Every time I wake up I am really happy to be on the right side of the grass.

I garden...and prepare my own food/meals daily.
Somedays, at the end of the day....I just sit in a chair in my yard and listen to all the birds, bugs, and neighborhood noises.
I also hike in the nearby Wildlife Refuge on a regular basis.

I play guitar or listen to music. Maybe bomb down a hill on my longboard going 40mph down the centennial trail watching the trees zip by me looking at the river knowing life is fun but if I die I die.

As opposed to living accidentally? 'Aw, shit, looks like I was alive again, today.'

I play music. I’ll sit down with my guitar and completely zone out. No thoughts, worries or concerns.

I try to do always what makes me happy. When outside, I'm bird watching or doing bird photography.
I walk everywhere where possible, I watch funny Netflix shows, read interesting Kindle books, etc.

I do not do things deliberately so that I will do them, then I do not do them... nothing gets done around here and I do not know why. My philosophy is sound. My inability to cope with reality is ingenious. At some point the God particle will be discovered!!!

I live in the middle of BFE. Closest "town" is 17 miles away. My commute 1 way to work is over 30 miles. I come home & bask in nature. I raise chickens so they have to be tended daily. Just to lay back & listen to cicadas & feel the sun beating down or at night, listening to bullfrogs in the pond & watching stars...all while smelling like deep woods off cause fuck those biting ass, blood sucking mosquitos.

Kerouac had the right idea. I’ve been going to the woods too when I can; just a small couple acre lot of em next to my house or out on my family’s farm sometimes. Bake in the sun a little and work out with a bo staff or lie and watch the stars a while at night in the fields next to the woods.
