I am constantly both amazed, and dumbfounded when I hear people say 'America is a Christian Nation'.
There are a ton of quotes from the founding fathers who were very adamant about the opposite.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I think a lot of people misinterpret the fact that they were fleeing religious persecution. That they came here so they could be free to worship how they choose. Or not at all.
They miss the whole point.
