I have a tremendous fear that a religious fanatic will gain access to a weapon of mass destruction and destroy humanity.

i have anger at the hypocrisy of the religious right who feel that it is ok to rob and steal if they can justify it thru their religion.

i am disgusted with the far right who use their religion to justify their bigotry towards others.

i could go on.....

Whether done by a religious or political fanatic, it will or won't happen. You have no control over the event, so why worry about it. Take a moment to smell the roses (appreciate the beauty around you).

Humanity cannot be destroyed by any humans. Killing millions. Yes. Billions? Unfortunately not.

Except ramming an asteroid into the earth. Then maybe. But that is far far away.

It a very real possibility, so we all hope that those assigned to protect us are on their toes. As to the Fundamentalists... I don't know what to do about them. You can't reason with them, they don't do facts, and violence is the only language they know (or want to know). But if help is going to come, it's going to come through us, so we need to be looking for ways to protect all of us...

I agree with you there; even some of the ultra religious Christians here in Britain can occasionally go on about wiping out all Muslims. When I point out that Christ was all about forgiveness, they often blow their top!
