That's Chicago. We could take a short trip over to do some sightseeing but I don't think my kid would have the stamina to handle that.

@IamNobody We're visiting family there next month. We usually make it to the Lego Museum and that's about it - lol. I'd really like to do more but I'm not sure we ever will.

It's much warmer than I expected! I assumed the water would be freezing (I had been to the beach at Long Island and couldn't even stick my feet in the water it was so cold!). But the temperature was perfect, even on an overcast 79 degree day.

@Hihi not surprised given the very hot summer we have had, but it also can change very quickly. A few weeks ago I saw a story about the Lake Michigan water temp dropping like 20 degrees in a day!

@Hihi yep - but August is always warmer than June.
