People love to complain about politicians and while I concede that Trump is a disgrace and a buffoon, he isn't the real problem. Big money takes over the political process and undermines the very nature of democracy. If politicians were limited to how much they could spend on their campaign to the amount of money they get paid in a year for the position they are running for then there would be far less corruption possible. Instead it costs millions to run an effective political campaign for a position that pays a fraction of what it takes to gain it. This makes no financial sense unless the system is inherently corrupt.
